Theatre Royal

The Theatre Royal is located on the junction of Tower Street and Jewry Street in the heart of Winchester. The building was built in 1850 and used as a hotel, then turned into a cinema during the First World War. Since the 1970’s the building has been used a live performance space . This project focused on remodelling the front of house area to create a welcoming atmosphere not just for theatre attendees but for the local residents to use as a hub during the day.
