Project Management
Following acceptance of a quote the works will be assigned an agreed start date, the Client sent a detailed programme of works and notified of the dedicated Site Manager who will be running the project on site.
HP Contracts are fully aware of CDM regulations and can act as CDM Co-ordinator if required. We will also undertake any procedures under planning, fire officer and building control regulations.
A pre-start meeting will discuss all the logistical details of the scheme especially if an office, for example, is to remain operational during the works, to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum.
Health & Safety is our priority and a method statement, risk, manual handling and CoSHH assessments are documented for every project or for larger schemes a full Health and Safety File is produced as required by CDM regulations.
On site, the manager will be supported by a team of site staff and sub-contractors and for administrative issues, by the team assigned at head office for financial management, procurement and documentation.
Projects will be overseen by a Senior Manager who will ensure the quality of the project is of the highest standard in both materials and workmanship and that the scheme finishes on time and to budget. Regular liaison meetings with the Client will review the works as they progress.
